I finished this one up this morning and wanted to share. I am calling this "Flowers and Fruit. It really was swo much fun to paint. I have another one started that I will post later. It is of a basket with some veggies in it. I am painting it for a project for Watercolor Workshop, a group I belong to.

Hi, Bobbi -- I just discovered your blog, so my comments are on paintings that are not recent. I have 2 problems with this painting: one, the line marking the wall from the tabletop is too close to the vase; it looks like the vase is flat and painted on the wall. The other problem I have is that, despite your shadows under the fruit, they appear to be floating. Maybe they need a line of darkness right along the bottom of the fruit to anchor them. I admire your work and wanted to share my impressions. Lucy
